Злоумышленники предложили ей зарабатывать на «лайках» и отправили ссылку на онлайн-магазин. Для убедительности они выплатили ей 500 рублей.
Далее аферисты создали чат с ботами, в котором объяснили, как можно «приумножить» доход, просили покупать товары и затем оформлять возврат для повышения рейтинга продавца.
Женщина стала переводить деньги за продукцию на указанные счета, а когда захотела их вернуть, мошенники перестали выходить на связь.

In a statement, the regulator said the search and seizure operation was carried out against seven individuals and one corporate entity at multiple locations in Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar in Gujarat, Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Mumbai. "For Telegram, accountability has always been a problem, which is why it was so popular even before the full-scale war with far-right extremists and terrorists from all over the world," she told AFP from her safe house outside the Ukrainian capital.
