В первый рейс вышел грузовой электровоз 3ЭС8 «Малахит». Он доставил состав из 77 вагонов весом 7018 тонн со станции Бабаево (Вологодская обл.) на станцию Лужская (Ленинградская обл.).
Все основные компоненты электровоза, включая асинхронный тяговый привод, силовое оборудование и интеллектуальные системы управления, разработаны и изготовлены в России.
Новая машина оснащена системами автоведения, диагностики и безопасности движения. Они в автоматическом режиме передают информацию о своём техническом состоянии.
3ЭС8 оборудован несущим кузовом. Он создан в виде цельной бескаркасной конструкции. Такое решение обеспечивает максимальную защиту локомотивной бригады во время столкновения.
Рассчитываем, что «Малахит» сможет вести поезда массой 7,1 тыс. т на сложных горных участках Транссиба и 9 тыс. т – в европейской части страны.
