Stocks closed in the red Friday as investors weighed upbeat remarks from Russian President Vladimir Putin about diplomatic discussions with Ukraine against a weaker-than-expected print on U.S. consumer sentiment. He adds: "Telegram has become my primary news source." For example, WhatsApp restricted the number of times a user could forward something, and developed automated systems that detect and flag objectionable content.
