Сегодня трудно найти художника из XXI века, чьи картины висят почти в каждом учебном заведении России. Школы, гимназии, колледжи, вузы, кадетские корпуса, военные академии и университеты... повсюду видны труды Павла Рыженко (1970 - 2014).

Некоторые не знают имени автора, но точно видели его творения. Смертельно раненный копьём на Куликовом поле монах Пересвет, попадался хоть раз на глаза почти каждому, интересующемуся историей. Творчество художника Рыженко стало для России как воздух: вроде бы незаметен, но без него не прожить.

Сын Павла Рыженко ведет захватывающие экскурсии на выставках отца. Тихон оказался одарённейшей личностью и в исторических кругах прославился книгой "Пути империй". Теперь он написал книгу о своём выдающемся художнике-отце.
