Трогательный факт: со своей супругой, рабой Божией Ниной, отец Петр прожил 70 лет. Скончалась она совсем недавно, на святках этого года. Расстались любящие супруги лишь на неполный месяц.
Провожали отца Петра старообрядцы разных стран и согласий. Несмотря на трагедию церковного Раскола XVII века, подлинно христианской любовью он умел объединить самых разных людей.
