Сегодня исполняется 25 лет подвигу псковских десантников 6-й роты.

1 марта 2000 года они на высоте 776 в Аргунском ущелье остановили отряд из 2,5 тысяч боевиков. Из 90 бойцов выжило лишь 6.

22 десантникам присвоено звание Героя России, остальные награждены Орденом Мужества (посмертно).

Аллея памяти 6-й роты открылась в Ельниковской роще в 2020 году. Некоторые портреты героев оказались повреждены. Депутаты НГСД Андрей Андреев и Алексей Албутов, бывшие десантники, взяли на себя инициативу обновить их.

Новые портреты выполнены на металлической основе для большей устойчивости.

Андрей Андреев и Алексей Албутов вместе с главой города Максимом Семеновым возложили цветы к мемориалу в честь героев.
