Следующий этап — присвоение школе имени первого директора, жителя блокадного Ленинграда, заслуженного работника физической культуры Российской Федерации Юрия Герасимовича Королёва (1935–2024). В декабре 2024 года Топонимическая комиссия города поддержала инициативу школы.
