Фигурантами уголовного дела о мошенничестве более чем на 850 тыс. рублей стали двое жителей Северной Осетии, сообщает пресс-служба МВД по республике.
💳По данным ведомства, молодому человеку из Чечни понадобились реквизиты банковской карты для вывода денег от продажи криптовалюты. Свою «помощь» ему предложили 21-летний и 25-летний жители Дигоры. За это они попросили 30 тыс. рублей.
Когда на карту одного из аферистов были выведены 781 тыс. рублей, второй связался с потерпевшим и попросил сверху еще 40 тыс. рублей.

Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. "Someone posing as a Ukrainian citizen just joins the chat and starts spreading misinformation, or gathers data, like the location of shelters," Tsekhanovska said, noting how false messages have urged Ukrainians to turn off their phones at a specific time of night, citing cybersafety. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights. "He has to start being more proactive and to find a real solution to this situation, not stay in standby without interfering. It's a very irresponsible position from the owner of Telegram," she said. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market.
