Памятник Конфуцию в новом сквере Казанского федерального университета поставили. Мы надеялись, и оно случилось. Постамент над Ленинским садом пустовал 47 лет.

В 1924 году здесь установили один из первых бюстов Ленину в стране. В 1925 — первый полноценный памятник вождю в Казани.

Теперь другой мудрый дедушка с хитрым прищуром занял это место. К сожалению, к конструктивистской лестнице НОТ он стоит спиной. Композиция нарушена. Но все равно забавно.
