Святейший Патриарх Московский и всея Руси Кирилл 13 октября посетил Никольское кладбище Свято-Троицкой Александро-Невской лавры.

Его Святейшество сопровождали священноархимандрит обители митрополит Санкт-Петербургский и Ладожский Варсонофий, наместник монастыря епископ Кронштадтский Вениамин, ректор Санкт-Петербургской Духовной Академии епископ Петергофский Силуан и личный секретарь епископ Раменский Алексий.

Предстоятель возложил венок и совершил литию у могилы своего духовного наставника митрополита Никодима (Ротова). 15 октября исполняется 95 лет со дня его рождения.

Патриарх Кирилл также помолился у могил митрополита Антония (Мельникова), митрополита Иоанна (Снычева) и своего брата протоиерея Николая Гундяева.
