В общем идем на Adapted English Books (клик сюды) и скачиваем Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens бесплатно и без смс. Там, книга уже адаптирована под A2-B1, то есть под большинство из нас здесь, ну или если у вас вдруг B2-C1😎, можете почитать и в оригинале.
Классическая, очень британская, темная рождественская история. В адаптированной версии читается на ура. Буквально страниц 30-40. Вот вам отрывочек чтобы оценить силы:
“It was dark and cold outside. Scrooge did not want to go anywhere, and for a moment he thought about pretending to be too ill to go out. But he did not like to refuse, so he said nothing, and got out of bed. Together they passed through the wall of the house out into the darkness.”
