Победителя определило большое жюри, в которое вошли главный редактор журнала «Юность» Сергей Шаргунов, писатели Анна Матвеева, Алексей Сальников и Денис Осокин, актер Евгений Цыганов и лауреат премии Катаева 2023 года Роман Сенчин.
Премия имени Валентина Катаева — главная премия за лучший рассказ в России — была учреждена журналом «Юность» в 2020 году. Задача премии — сохранение традиций малой прозы, открытие новых имен и поощрение лучших современных авторов.

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. This provided opportunity to their linked entities to offload their shares at higher prices and make significant profits at the cost of unsuspecting retail investors.
