Магомеду Бучаеву было 27 лет. Он проработал на RT около трёх лет. В июне этого года ушёл добровольцем в зону СВО. В начале ноября вместе со своим отрядом участвовал в штурме Часова Яра.
Как рассказали RT сослуживцы, которые выжили в том бою, Магомед шёл в числе первых. Основной удар противника он взял на себя. Это и спасло некоторых ребят из его группы. Один из выживших штурмовиков смог вытащить из-под огня раненого. Ценой своей жизни Магомед спас сразу нескольких сослуживцев.
