UPDATE: The Palisades Fire grew by 1,000 acres overnight and is now threatening the Brentwood community in Los Angeles.

Most of the Brentwood neighborhood, where actors like Dennis Quaid live, have/are evacuating.

The development comes after there was a "significant" flare-up where the fire began growing "really, really fast," according to spokesman Jesus Ruiz.

Firefighting aircraft have been fighting the fire non-stop in this particular area to protect the homes.
