Сегодня с удовольствием провёл экскурсию для ребят из киностудии «Браво». Мы встретились в их школе №1786 ещё в октябре. Школьники недавно выиграли всероссийский фестиваль, получив призы сразу в двух номинациях: посвященной 225-летию А.С. Пушкина и «Кино». В фестивале приняли участие более полумиллиона человек из 86 регионов России и зарубежных стран. И победители очень хотели побывать в Государственной Думе.
Ребята с нетерпением ждали этой встречи, они подготовили творческий подарок – новую песню о России. В ответ я подарил им камни из своей личной коллекции, основа которой хранится в Государственном геологическом музее им. В.И. Вернадского.
Особенно запомнились вопросы ребят – очень важные и проникновенные. Это была очень тёплая встреча! Огромное спасибо всем участникам за их талант и энтузиазм!

You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Crude oil prices edged higher after tumbling on Thursday, when U.S. West Texas intermediate slid back below $110 per barrel after topping as much as $130 a barrel in recent sessions. Still, gas prices at the pump rose to fresh highs. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
