альбом записывался в течение двух лет и в нем Билли Корган решил поспорить с аксиомой про то, что в одну реку невозможно войти дважды: он решил сделать новый альбом, используя те же способы и средства, которыми руководствовался в 1990-1996 годах - в то время, когда the Smashing Pumpkins записали свои самые великие альбомы.
итогом стал альбом, который как машина времени выкидывает нас в 90ые - к жгучим гитарным риффам альтернативного рока, к огненным мелодиям и классическому вокалу Коргана.
в текстах все также полным-полно эзотерики и всевозможной готической магии, а музыка хоть и крутится вокруг песен времен Siamese Dream, но все же не уходит в слепое самокопирование.
совершенно разрывное возвращение как по мне!
