Tama Gucci - музыкант весьма необычный. начав свои эксперименты как бедрум-продюсер, выкладывающий каверы и ремиксы на саундклауд, он добрался до своего собственного аутентичного творчества, вдохновленного андеграундной рейв-сценой его родного города Майами.
тяжелое брейбит-звучание нелегальных вечеринок на складах, рейв-сцена Южной Флориды, ямайские корни музыкант и его любовь к дабу и регги, детское увлечение поп-музыкой и аренби 90ых и нулевых - все это нашло отражение в его альбоме Notes To Self.
в этой работе Tama Gucci переосмысляет написание поп-песен, соединяя олдскульный арэнби, бейс, дабтронику и драм-н-бейс в один большой, сложный клубный ландшафт.
