У Черкасах зустріли мощі свт. Спиридона Триміфунтського в престольний день пам'яті святого

25 грудня 2024 року, в день пам'яті святителя Спиридона Триміфунтського, на Архієрейському подвір'ї на честь Різдва Христового в м. Черкаси, нижній храм якого присвячений свт. Спиридону, відбулася довгоочікувана подія. У день престольного торжества на парафію прибув ковчег із часткою мощей святого чудотворця.

Уже вдруге благословення свт. Спиридона простягається на православних черкащан через святині, пов'язані з його видатною особистістю. У грудні 2022 року до Черкас разом із часткою мощей було привезено для молитовного поклоніння черевичок свт. Спиридона. Тоді, протягом місяця, безліч вірян із різних благочинь Черкаської єпархії мали можливість помолитися біля святинь і попросити допомоги святого у своїх життєвих потребах.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Markets continued to grapple with the economic and corporate earnings implications relating to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. “We have a ton of uncertainty right now,” said Stephanie Link, chief investment strategist and portfolio manager at Hightower Advisors. “We’re dealing with a war, we’re dealing with inflation. We don’t know what it means to earnings.” Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Soloviev also promoted the channel in a post he shared on his own Telegram, which has 580,000 followers. The post recommended his viewers subscribe to "War on Fakes" in a time of fake news.
