Рижский городской суд 29 октября признал гражданина России Виктора Кривошея виновным в убийстве администратора неплатежеспособности Мартиньша Бункуса и приговорил его к пожизненному заключению, а предприниматели Александр Бабенко и Михаил Ульман признаны виновными в заказе убийства и приговорены к 15 годам лишения свободы.
