Санкт-Петербурга рассмотрел ходатайство следствия об избрании меры пресечения в виде заключения под стражу в отношении Андрея Жукова, обвиняемого в совершении преступления, предусмотренного ч.3 ст.30 - п.ж ч.2 ст.105 УК РФ (https://www.group-telegram.com/ms/SPbGS.com/14696).
21.05.2023 Жуков был задержан в порядке ст.91 УПК РФ. 22.05.2023 ему было предъявлено обвинение. Вину признал частично.
Обвиняемый и защитник не возражали.
Суд ходатайство следствия удовлетворил, избрав Жукову стражу по 20.07.2023.

It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
