White House clarified that Richard Grenell's visit to Venezuela does not mean that they recognize Maduro
"Absolutely not," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded emphatically.
Leavitt explained that Grenell traveled to Venezuela “with two very clear directives: to ensure that members of Tren de Aragua, of whom there are 400 currently in custody, are repatriated to Venezuela and that all U.S. detainees return home.”
