Пользователь покупает «Telegram Stars» за рубли → оплачивает платежи в телеграм-ботах → разработчик бота может вывести «Stars» в крипту TON.
Нововведение связано с ограничениями со стороны Apple и Google. Пока неизвестно, распространится ли оно на версии, скачанные извне.

Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. Such instructions could actually endanger people — citizens receive air strike warnings via smartphone alerts.
