حُصولُ المشقَّة لا يَستلزم حصولَ التخفيف؛ لأن أصل العبادات موضوع على المَشاقِّ، على ما دلَّ عليه اشتقاقها من التعبُّد وهو الخضوع والتذلل، وفي ذلك من المشقة على النفس والبدن ما لا يُنكَر، وإنما تفضَّل الله تعالى بالتخفيف في بعض محالِّ المشاق دون بعض، فلا يجوز إلحاقُ غيرِ محلِّ التفضُّل به بمجرَّدِ التَّحكُّم.
