فرجع عمر وطلحة -رضي الله عنهما- للقتال حتى وصلوا إلى رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- وقام طلحة بموقفه العظيم في حماية النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- وقام عمر بموقفه الكبير في الرد على قائد الكفر والدفاع عن حق الله وهو على رأس أحد ..
واستحق الرجلان العظيمان فضل التبشير بالشهادة في ذلك الموقف !
