Похоронят, зароют глубоко,
бедный холмик травой порастёт,
и услышим: далёко, высоко
на земле где-то дождик идёт.

Ни о чём уж мы больше не спросим,
пробудясь от ленивого сна.
Знаем: если не громко – там осень,
если бурно – там, значит, весна.

Хорошо, что в дремотные звуки
не вступают восторг и тоска,
что от муки любви и разлуки
упасла гробовая доска.

Торопиться не надо, уютно;
здесь, пожалуй, надумаем мы,
что под жизнью беспутной и путной
разумели людские умы.
