Многие страны выразили Тегерану соболезнования в связи с гибелью Раиси. Президент Владимир Путин заявил, что навсегда сохранит самую светлую память о Раиси и назвал его настоящим другом России.
Подобная риторика содержится и в соболезнованиях главы МИД России Сергея Лаврова. Президента и главу МИД Ирана Хосейна Абдоллахияна всегда знали в России как настоящих друзей, заявил он.
