با نهایت اندوه از درگذشت نابهنگام هموطن برجسته، فیروز نادری آگاه شدم. به رغم دهها سال دوری، عشق و دلبستگی او به ایران نمونه بارزی از وفاداری به زادگاه خود بود، نکته ای که شاهزاده رضا و من در دیدار با او در منزلم در پاریس، سالهای پیش شاهد آن بودیم، پیوندی که در این سالها همچنان پا بر جا ماند.
جایگاهی که او در علوم فضائی به آن رسید، باعث افتخار من و تمام ایرانیان و جای او برای همه ما خالی است.
من این واقعه اسفناک را به خاندان گرامی نادری و دوستان بی شمار آن زنده یاد از صمیم قلب تسلیت می گویم.
