Двое альпинистов, попавших под лавину в районе балки Орленок в Карачаево-Черкесии, найдены погибшими, сообщило МЧС России.
По данным следствия, 17 февраля в Карачаево-Черкесию командировали 15 работников противопожарной и аварийно-спасательной службы Ставропольского края для проведения учебно-тренировочных сборов.
19 февраля двое работников службы вместе с мужчиной, который не участвовал в сборах, отправились по горному маршруту к слону урочища Орленок в Софийском ущелье КЧР. "В результате халатности, следовавшая по маршруту группа людей оказалась в эпицентре снежной лавины, что повлекло смерть одного из работников спасательной службы и вышеуказанного мужчины", - сообщил следком.
