Чин пострига возглавил архиепископ Арцизский Виктор по благословению митрополита Одесского и Измаильского Агафангела.
Иерарх постриг послушника Виктора в монашество с именем Вадим – в честь преподобномученика Вадима Персидского, архимандрита.
