Крушение самолета в Южной Корее стало вторым авиапроисшествием за сутки — накануне в Канаде самолет столкнулся с проблемами при посадке в результате чего самолет выкатился за пределы ВПП, а его часть загорелась. К счастью, никто из 73 пассажиров серьезно не пострадал. Аэропорт был временно закрыт, сейчас одна из полос уже работает.
В заявлении аэропорта говорится, что инцидент произошел около 9:30 вечера по местному времени с рейсом Air Canada 2259, который выполняла авиакомпания PAL Airlines.
