As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. For tech stocks, “the main thing is yields,” Essaye said. Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network.
