Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Saturday and Sunday could easily bring unfortunate news on the war front—and traders would rather be able to sell any recent winnings at Friday’s earlier prices than wait for a potentially lower price at Monday’s open. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Although some channels have been removed, the curation process is considered opaque and insufficient by analysts.
