Московские друзья и товарищи! Ещё раз напомню, что 14 ноября сего года мы попытаемся с Игорем Карауловым ответить на некоторые из вечных русских вопросов. Произойдет это в знаменитом Бункере на Лубянке, где я прежде никогда ещё не выступал. Отвечать буду текстами и не текстами, а также всей своей предыдущей жизнью, как водится. А до того почти целый день (где-то с полдня до пяти вечера) думаю провести в Джоново-Ленином Нигде Кроме на Арбатской в доме Моссельпрома, где буду рад всем, кто захочет меня там навестить.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. This provided opportunity to their linked entities to offload their shares at higher prices and make significant profits at the cost of unsuspecting retail investors. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes.
