Acum 550 de ani, la 10 ianuarie 1475, Ștefan cel Mare a obținut o victorie glorioasă împotriva otomanilor în bătălia de la Vaslui. Oastea Moldovei, formată din circa 40 de mii de oșteni, a învins armata otomană de circa 120 de mii de soldați condusă de Suleiman Pașa.
Bătălia de la Vaslui a rămas în istorie drept una dintre cele mai strălucite lupte ale domnitorului Moldovei. Este datoria noastră să păstrăm memoria despre aceste pagini glorioase ale istoriei, care au definit identitatea noastră, și să transmitem această amintire generațiilor viitoare.

Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
