«Микробиота — совокупность тысяч бактерий, живущих в нашем кишечнике и определяющих здоровье и развитие человека. Она — источник фармакологически активных лекарств для лечения различных заболеваний, таких как артрит, аутизм, паркинсонизм и депрессия», — рассказал учёный.
