علاقة الإنسان المحب بمحبوبه إن لم يملأها الشغف والود والتواصل والاطمئنان باتت باردة تنحدر إلى هوية البُعد شيئا فشيئاً! والمحب الصادق لا يزيده كثرة التودد إلا لهفة واشتياقا لمحبوبه! ولا يزيده كثرة التواصل والقرب إلا إعظاما للمحبة الوثيقة بينه وبين محبوبه! ولا يتأتى له ذلك الا بحب المحبوب على ما هو عليه نقص! فيحب نقصه ويراه جميلا! خلافا للآخرين من الناس! فيتأمل ويتفكّر في نعوت محبوبه فيحبها كما هي إذ هي تنسب للمحبوب! هكذا يكون المحب والمحبة الصادقة.
