На встрече с жителями Алексей Смирнов предложил Марине Дегтяревой уйти в отставку из-за массовых жалоб жителей на организацию эвакуации из района во время вторжения ВСУ.
На встрече Дегтярева попыталась оправдаться за медаль «За укрепление боевого содружества и за вклад в укрепление обороны России», которую ей вручили в сентябре.
Её слова о том, что такие же медали вручили всем главам приграничных районов, вызвали в зале возмущение.

In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation."
