Руководство «Казахстанских железных дорог» договорилось с лавой госкорпорации «Китайские железные дороги» Го Чжусюэ об увеличении количества пропускаемых из Казахстана в Китай грузовых ж/д составов.
С 1 марта 2025 года планируется нарастить сдачу поездов через межгосударственный стыковочный пункт «Алтынколь – Хоргос» с 8 до 15 единиц в сутки.
Также с 1 июля 2025 года планируют увеличить сдачу поездов через межгосударственный стыковочный пункт «Достык – Алашанькоу» с 14 до 28 единиц в сутки.
