گزارش‌های جدید آژانس بین‌المللی انرژی اتمی نشان می‌دهد که ذخایر اورانیوم غنی‌شده ایران با خلوص نزدیک به سطح تسلیحاتی به‌شدت افزایش یافته است.
طبق گزارش آژانس، تقریباً ۴۲ کیلوگرم اورانیوم ۶۰ درصد غنی‌شده در صورت افزایش غلظت به ۹۰ درصد، دست‌کم در تئوری برای تولید یک بمب اتمی کافی است. بدین ترتیب، ذخایر اورانیوم با غلظت بالای ایران تا ۲۰ بهمن‌ماه مواد اولیه کافی برای ساخت بیش از شش بمب اتمی را فراهم می‌کند.
