Сегодня в рамках XII Всемарийского съезда в Марийском национальном театре драмы имени М. Шкетана проходит пленарное заседание.
На заседании делегаты съезда утвердили резолюцию и избрали Оньыжу, который в ближайшие четыре года будет стоять во главе Всемарийского совета. Им уже третий раз стал Эдуард Александров.
Верховный марийский карт Александр Таныгин вручил Оньыже хлеб, пожелав ему быть таким же сильным, как этот каравай. И с напутствующими словами надел на голову Оньыже традиционный марийский головной убор – теркупш.
