روزنامه اعتماد نوشت: در یکی از جدیدترین گزارش‌های اداره آمار کشور (در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۳) مشخص شد که ۲۷ درصد ایرانی‌ها با درآمد روزانه دو دلاری زندگی می‌کنند.
- این در حالی است که فقط هزینه‌های سلامت در ایران با سرعت چشمگیری در حال افزایش است و بخش قابل توجهی از درمان‌ها از سبد خانوار این دهک‌ها خارج می‌شود.
- مطالعات دیگری نشان می‌دهد که نشانه‌های سوءتغذیه مانند کمبود وزن متوسط، 6% ایرانی‌ها را درگیر کرده است، کمبود وزن خفیف، 25%، کوتاهی قد شدید، 3%، کوتاهی قد متوسط، 8٪، کوتاهی قد خفیف %21، لاغری شدید، 1٪، لاغری متوسط، 5٪ و لاغری خفیف، 20٪ در میان ایرانی‌ها گزارش شده است.

Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores.
