Нарадзіўся ў вёсцы Дамашы Маладзечанскага павета. Скончыў Маскоўскі педагагічны інстытут у 1963 г. У 1992 г. абараніў першую ў Беларусі доктарскую дысертацыю па крыніцазнаўстве матэрыяльнай і духоўнай культуры нашага народу. Напісаў і выдаў шэраг кніг па фалькларыстыцы і археалогіі, літаратурна- краязнаўчых нарысаў. Памёр ва ўзросце 58 гадоў.

Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones. Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever." Groups are also not fully encrypted, end-to-end. This includes private groups. Private groups cannot be seen by other Telegram users, but Telegram itself can see the groups and all of the communications that you have in them. All of the same risks and warnings about channels can be applied to groups. As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read."
