Азиатская часть нашей страны остаётся под влиянием областей низкого давления. Поэтому здесь наблюдается значительная положительная аномалия температуры. Ведь обычно между Уралом и берегами Тихого океана в это время года господствует азиатский антициклон, определяющих более холодную погоду. Сейчас не так. Даже на нашем полюсе холода, в Оймяконе (Якутия), средняя суточная температура превысила норму на 5°С.

К западу от Урала антициклон сдаёт свои позиции. Атмосферное давление падает. На юге, где сильнее влияние разрушающегося антициклона, сохраняется холодная погода. В Крыму холоднее обычного на 3°С.

Приблизилась к норме температура воздуха в Северо-Западном и Центральном районах. Впереди здесь существенное похолодание и возвращение зимы.
