Наибольшее количество “космического мусора” числится за США – 13592 (+ 275), в т.ч. 8709 (+ 367) – спутники, а 4883 (– 92) – ступени ракет и обломки. На втором месте Россия – 6879 (– 87). На третьем Китай – 5547 (+ 356). Далее следуют Великобритания – 718 (+ 20), Франция – 631 (+ 1), Япония – 306 (– 8), Индия – 191 (– 9) и Европейское космическое агентство – 128 (+ 4). На долю всех остальных стран приходится 1236 фрагмента (+ 18).
