Муад'Диб - имя песчаной мышки, которое берёт себе Пол. Локаций сиквела стало больше, события тоже увеличиваются. Изумительная цветокоррекция в монохроме планеты Харконненов Ги-Ди Прайм (гладиаторские бои, стильные лысые Харконнены и их слуги). Испытание Пола в первой поездке на черве - быстрая, неуловимая песочная гонка герцога.

Фрименская культура (восточно-арабский колорит) расширяется за счёт лидера этого народа Стилгар / Хавьер Бардем. Пол и Чани притягиваются друг к другу, возникает любовь между ними. Эта история политических заговоров великих домов; история мести, за смерть отца. 8/10
