Этот комплекс отвечает за работу всех частей ускорителя, поэтому его смело можно сравнить с мозгом и нервной системой установки, заявили учёные.
Ускоритель включает в себя более 2500 магнитных элементов и почти столько же прецизионных источников питания 16 разных типов. В единую систему их объединяют контроллеры, управляющие работой разных элементов с помощью специального программного обеспечения.
Напомним, что запуск кольцевого ускорителя СКИФа намечен на декабрь этого года.
