По его словам, это прототип твердотопливной ракеты «Универсал», документация на который после распада СССР «была передана в Московский институт теплотехники». В итоге на той основе был создан «Тополь-М», а впоследствии межконтинентальная ракета «Ярс» и ее версия — ракета средней дальности «Орешник».
