Судья Ленинского районного суда Усенко признал Даниила виновным в том, что он, являясь участником ОГО! (Признанное иностранным агентом), распространил в Telegram информацию и не добавил к ней «иноагентскую плашку».

Штраф составил 10 тысяч рублей.
Ранее суд оштрафовал сооснователей ОГО! Николая Родькина на 30 тысяч рублей и Ричарда Романа Кинга на 40 тысяч рублей. Всего в отношении участников ОГО! возбуждено 6 подобных дел.

Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use. While Telegram has been embroiled in controversy for much of its life, it has become a vital source of communication during the invasion of Ukraine. In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation." A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. On Feb. 27, however, he admitted from his Russian-language account that "Telegram channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events." Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram.
