Накануне, 20 ноября, были озвучены имена победителей Национальной спортивной премии 2024 года. В номинации «Преодоление» - за вклад в развитие адаптивного спорта - за звание «Лучшей спортсменки» боролась орчанка, Заслуженный мастер спорта России Виктория Ищиулова. К сожалению, Виктории не удалось выиграть, но она вошла в тройку сильнейших в данной номинации.

As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender.
