События «Восхода Луны» разворачиваются в будущем, где Луна становится пристанищем преступников. Главные герои — Джек и Эл, которым придётся нелегко на просторах открытого космоса (на фоне борьбы спутника за независимость). Производством сериала занимается Wit Studio («Семья шпиона», «Виви»). В пресс-релизе говорится, что в производстве сериала будет задействован «инновационный тип анимации».
